You are already buying a seed fluency agent. This one does something for the crop.
WillRock Ag Fluency & Zinc Concentrate replaces your talc or graphite with an 80/20 talc and graphite base that carries concentrated IonLock Zinc plus iron and manganese onto the seed. Seed flows better, and the plant gets zinc in-furrow at emergence. About $5.00 an acre, and one pail covers roughly 125 acres of corn.
This is the entry point to the WillRock corn lineup — no biologicals, no liquid system, no change to how you run the planter. It is the least expensive way to get zinc on the seed.
What’s working for you
IonLock Zinc is a micronutrient encapsulation technology that concentrates zinc into a dry, film-forming powder. Meristem tissue testing at V3 shows 36% more zinc in the plant than traditional in-furrow zinc applications — along with 30% more iron and 56% more manganese.
The zinc does two jobs at once. It improves singulation so the meter drops seed cleanly, and it helps adhere microbes to the seed coat — which is why this same base carries the biologicals in the rest of the WillRock planter box lineup. When you step up to Corn Defense or Corn Pro, the base does not change.
The cost case is freight. Concentrated dry zinc removes the water you would otherwise pay to haul, which is where the roughly 50% saving against traditional liquid zinc comes from.
Why growers choose it
- 36% more zinc at V3 — measured in plant tissue against traditional in-furrow zinc
- Roughly half the cost of liquid zinc — no water to buy, store or freight
- Better singulation — 80/20 talc and graphite base built for seed flow
- Iron and manganese too — 30% and 56% more respectively at V3
- No liquid system required — runs on a dry planter, replaces the fluency agent you already use
- Same base as the rest of the lineup — step up to Corn Defense or Corn Pro without changing anything else
- Natural and biodegradable — film-forming powder formulation
Coverage
Sold by the pail, two pails to a case. One pail treats 50 units of corn at 80,000 seeds per unit — roughly 125 acres at a 32,000 population, or about $5.00 per acre. A case treats 100 units.
How to apply
- Remove the safety clips from the side of the pail.
- Apply one scoop per 80,000-seed unit (single-row planters).
Store cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. Do not hold above 77°F for extended periods, and do not freeze.
