Timing

Applied with the post-herbicide pass in the WillRock soybean programs.

Soybeans set more pods than they keep. Stress is what decides the difference.

WillRock Ag Complete Foliar goes on with your post-herbicide pass and primes the plant before the stress arrives. Six foliar nutrients plus two biostimulant metabolites — proline and trimethylglycine — help the crop hold performance through heat, drought, cold, excess water, high salinity and UV load. About $4.50 an acre, and one 2 × 2.5 gallon case covers 40 acres.

The carrier is a bio-ready N-solution surfactant system, so it goes in the tank with live biologicals without knocking down the microbe count.

What’s working for you

L-Proline is an osmotic-regulator amino acid that plants accumulate to fight off abiotic stress. The key is timing: plants primed with proline are tolerant to stress before the event occurs. It also acts as an antioxidant, regulating the balance of active oxidation inside plant cells.

Trimethylglycine works alongside proline as an osmoprotectant, helping the plant hold cell function and keep sugars, nutrients and water moving during heat and drought.

Six nutrients — nitrogen, sulfur, boron, manganese, molybdenum and zinc — arrive during the vegetative-to-reproductive transition, when demand climbs faster than the soil can supply. Boron and molybdenum matter twice over in soybeans: boron for flowering and pod set, molybdenum for nitrogen fixation in the nodule.

Why growers choose it

  • Preventive, not corrective — proline primes the plant for stress before the event, rather than treating damage after
  • Rides with the post-herbicide pass — no additional trip across the field
  • Bio-ready surfactant system — safe to tank mix with live biological microbes
  • Six nutrients in one pass — N, S, B, Mn, Mo and Zn, no separate micronutrient jug
  • Supports flowering and pod set — boron delivered ahead of reproductive development
  • Feeds the nodule — molybdenum is required for nitrogen fixation
  • Broad stress coverage — drought, heat, cold, excess or deficient water, salinity, heavy metals, UV

Coverage

Sold in 2 × 2.5 gallon jugs (36 cases per pallet) or 250-gallon totes. At 1 pint per acre, one case covers 40 acres at about $4.50 per acre.

How to apply

Apply as a foliar at 1 pint per acre in sufficient water for thorough coverage. In soybeans the window runs from vegetative through reproductive stages; the WillRock soybean programs place it with the post-herbicide pass.

Fill the mix tank with half the required water volume and begin agitation. Add products in this order, mixing thoroughly after each addition: adjuvants, pesticides, then fertilizers. Fill with the remaining water and continue agitating until fully mixed.

Jar test any chemical mixture for compatibility before it goes in the tank. Applications are most effective ahead of a stress event or during rapid vegetative growth, and can also pay during early to mid-flowering.
